Faded Thought

Rebecca yawned. She glanced at the clock, it was 9:00. Nan would be there in an in 1 and 1/2 hours. So, Rebecca reluctantly hobbled out of bed. She tossed her p.j.s lazily on the dresser. She shuffled on over to her bathroom. She put her load of make-up on, but instead of her usual skinny jean/t-shirt style, she hopped into some torn up jean shorts. Even though it was the style, the holes and rips where just from, well, let's say everyday life. She also pulled on a pale blue noodle-strap tank-top. Then she checked what time it was. 9:30. 1 more hour, so she did her nails a deep red, and then ate. She checked the time. 10:15. Only fifteen more minutes. She decided to walk down there, so she would be there on time-sharp.
She first wanted to see her view. She opened the french doors and let the warm breeze whirl around the room, then, she stepped out onto the balcony. She gasped. There was a beautiful little town down below the hotel, many people without a car, but had a little cart, or animal to ride, and even some were walking. There were a few little shops lined up in the buildings, full of plants and stuff like that. And there was a little market place in one corner. After the town, there were miles and miles of beautiful rainforests! On the coast, there were long, white, sandy beaches, with beautiful, crashing waves.  Waves...Gina... and with that, she was lost in thought.
She imagined the beautiful, and lively young surfer. How she would LOVE to surf these waves. Poor girl. She's probably out there on the cruise with some mean and ugly lady. Rebecca shook that thought. Gina was out of her hands. Now, she had to get to the parking lot before it turned 10:30, which was in five minutes. She ran down the stairs, and out to the parking lot. Just exactly at 10:30, Nan spun into the lot.
"Morning!" She cheerfully shouted as she popped open the doors of the small car open. "Ready for the day?"
